In 1907 he met Gustav Klimt who inspired him and greatly influened his art. His work is relatively unknown and was diregarded by critcis, as being pornographic or to erotic. It wan't untill the year of his death that the merit of his work became relized. When his solo show in Paris met univrsal acclaim. His highly expressive figure drawings and paintings might be what he is most well known for today, but his range is evident in his collection of landscapes, and posters advertising art shows.
His character was questionable being accused of indecent relationships with his models, and they thought his art was to erotic and therfore corrupting the youth, although his character should not be considered into the merit of his artistic talent.

Picasso and Dali

Although Dali was not a big fan of Picasso's work, which is evident in his writing, they were friends. Most people don't know this. At one point Dali's wife Gala was visiting Picasso, and she knew that Picasso had quite a big ego about his work, and especially giving it away. Picasso said to Gala, "you can have any painting you want, here in the studio". Gala being very shrewd and knowing of Picasso's ego, she chose one of the very small paintings, knowing that if she picked one of the big ones it would piss Picasso off.

In the future, when Dali was moving to America, he was short of money at one point. He needed to borrow a few hundred dollars. And who did he go to, he went to Picasso. And Picasso lent him the money to move to America. Because Dali knew that he would be taking a ship to America, he produced a body of very small work, so he could travel with the pieces.

Art Site updates

We have gone over the Http://www.ezmuseum.com/ site and made some major changes to the look of the index page. Talk about a true artist to the bone. He was poor as can be yet kept on painting with a speed and ferocity never seen before. He would create several masterpieces in a single day. There is something strange something different about this brilliant man and his works. His drive and passion to continue when he could not afford food he lived on coffee with cream and sugar to survive. His brother an art dealer Theo could not sell a Vincent Van Gogh his own brothers work.

He was way ahead of his time and ours. Why Not . Since when does art have rules and restrictions first

Seccond Ethical SEO is and can be very creative with content writing and creative word and link placement.

But the most important is that Artists need to come up in our world. this belief in the poor artist forever must end. The Hues of Passion Art of Today and thru the Ages
By Andrew Zirkin

Many of us know that Vincent Van Gogh cut off his ear. Thou it is lesser known that he was so poor at twards his final years he lived on coffee and sugar and milkThis is why his teeth always look bad in films about him. As far as his ear goes some think he cut it to impress the prostitute that he gave it to. He was also an epilipetic and an absenth drinker this may have caused the erratic movement to cut off his ear.

Pablo Picasso the grandfather of all Modern art, his innovations have created the Cubist movement and art would never be the same. His life and love life were wild and colorful. Pablo Picasso had many Women over the years. Durring one stage Picasso was living in a brothel of which he named the piviotal work marking the begining of Cubism the Des Madmosel De Avignon.

Salvador Dali was not sexual like Pablo Picasso he was more the opposite. his parents created a fear of sex by leaving books out and open with sexualy transmited deseases. Imagine the mind of young Dali a brilliant genius child and std photos.

If you love art visit the local library, read up on your favorite artists and please come to our site to look around, add to our forum or just join us. Picasso / Van Gogh

Art has marked us and we have marked it since the beginnings of time from cave paintings, before our ancestors to Leonardo Da Vinci more intelligent then most of the best minds today 500 years later. Art of the greatists will always hold a place in our hearts like the works of Dali or Van Gogh.

Discover some of the lesser known stories of the artists you have always loved. For example many people don't know that Picasso use to carry a gun around and shoot it in the air at random. Also many people don't know that Dali borrowed $500 from Pablo Picasso when he was traveling to the United States for the first time. Enjoy your life, create and live.

"Artist student of art and life. B.A. in Fine Art at UC Santa Cruz. I have a passion for the arts. I see something in painting that is so needed in our world. It it is like we are moving too fast to see the paintings now. A painting is a way to stop and leave this world briefly at the same time engulfed in the moment." Andrew Zirkin

I get so much passion from the greats like Salvador Dali, Leonardo Da Vinci, Claude Monet, Degas, as so many others. He would often draw in his sketchbooks as a record/study and also as if almost to give us snapshots from his mind.

Da Vinci studied movements of animals especially birds, as he used their motion in his studies and understanding of aerodynamics.

Almost like how the martial artists would create a style around the movement’s and even encompass the personality of animals and insects.

Leonardo Da Vinci would use his brilliant mind and ability to scribe in drawings and text these intricate details.

For example from Da Vinci studies of the movements of birds he was able to devise and draw helicopters before the light bulb was invented.

When thinking of the divisions of the brain, there are two halves and two realms of awarness or Consciousness, the Unconscious and Sub Conscious mind. Usually the average person is good with one side of their brains, either the technical or creative and they have little ability with the understanding or use of the Unconscious mind.

Leonard Da Vinci would combine the creative side of his brain with the technical side to create as well as the ability to be open to his whole mind helped him to create ideas thousands of years ahead of there time.

You can see his influence in the studies and life works of Einstein, Freud, Salvador Dali, Michelangelo and even the Wright brothers, and most artists on this planet. His drawing of the perfect man has been sent to outer space in case intelligent life finds this then this will be their guide their map for understanding man.

Is that not just crazy 500 years later his drawings are still considered to be the best and most important the truest standard for man.

When I think of the advances of amazing cultures like the Greeks Romans, Aztecs cultures have brought to the world. No one man, before or after has created the kinds of advances to be almost equivalent to a great culture.

Think what his anatomical studies have done to advance medicine. He did this at a time when his studies of cadavers was a sacrilege. If caught one would be considered a heretic and be killed.

Still Da Vinci took the risks and saw no limitations with his focus on the rewards and advances he saw in his visions and created in the areas of Science, art and life on this planet as we know it.

His ability to most fully use his mind created a greatness of knowledge and inspiration for innovation he is truly a Renaissance master.

Please take the time to come and learn from our website and even contribute Surrealism, Impressionism, Leonardo Da Vinci http://www.ezmuseum.com/

Art graduate UCSC B.A. studies fine arts.
