He would create several masterpieces in a single day. There is something strange something different about this brilliant man and his works. His drive and passion to continue when he could not afford food he lived on coffee with cream and sugar to survive. His brother an art dealer Theo could not sell a Vincent Van Gogh his own brothers work.

He was way ahead of his time and ours. His colors were brash and strokes thick and rough compared with the pristine pastels of the Impressionists like Claude Monet and Pissaro before Vincent. He created many self portraits, landscapes and flower works like the famous Iris
